Trump doesn’t care why they applaud or what they cheer for. He always assumes that the crowd is cheering for him, because he always needs to be liked.
As Trump left for the Middle East, he spoke to reporters, and what he focused on was not the fact that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas meant that, at least for a brief period, the bloodshed would cease.
Trump has not focused on how to rebuild Gaza or bring lasting peace to the region.
Donald Trump only sought to fill this inner crater with applause from foreigners.
