There is a model to what the Trump administration does when it invades a city. The administration deploys ice troops and the national guard which act first, then the administration published propaganda before the facts were known to cover their traces.

Kristi Noem participated in Fox News on Sunday morning to respond to the mayor of Chicago calling ICE’s actions in the dangerous and reckless city.

Noem said: “People on the streets applaud while we are doing our job. They applaud while these officers stop these bad criminals. It is an area of war. His city is a war area, and he lies so that criminals can go there and destroy people’s lives. Where we went, we have made things much more free. People are much more sure.”

Governor JB Pritzker went to CNN and responded to Noem.

Pritzker said:

Let me say that the secretary does not know what she is talking about.

She frankly says that people applaud. They are not, they hooked it in the street and they are eating ice and CBP, they walk CBP walking by a beautiful Sunday. In Michigan Avenue. In downtown Chicago, they make neighborhood raids where instead of continuing the bad guys, they collect brown and black people, then check their references.
