Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) led to the Senate loudly to stop Trump’s corruption and the prejudice that the president causes to the American people. With the deadline for financing the government at the end of the month, the Democrats are increasingly refusing to vote for anything unless the Trump agenda is arrested.
On NBC’s Meet The Press, Kristen Welker asked Booker: “As you heard me chatted with secretary Bessente, we have just received this job report, jobs lower than expected last month. The senator, are you ready to close the government to defend the priorities of the Democrats? “”
Booker replied when he was asked if he would close the government:
If there is a government closure, the Republicans control the White House and control the congress. They will be the ones who close things. There is a way to make a budget. The way it was done, all the time that I was an American senator, is in a bipartite way.
But our president does not care about bipartite. Our president does not care about the independence of the agencies he attacks. He does not care about the independence of the Ministry of Justice. He says he targets his political enemies, like my colleague Adam Schiff. He is a president who does not have the necessary moral to reach the aisle and work within the limits of our Constitution. He is reckless. And he hurts the Americans. And I do not give my vote for a budget that will harm New Jerseyans or anyone in our country.

The entire premise of Welker’s question was bad.
