The consumer media do not understand a very basic point. Texas and California are both restarted from their congress district cards, but they don’t do the same.

On CNN, the candidate for the post of governor and former representative Katie Porter (D-CA) replied when he was asked if the redistribution in California was an example of two wrongs which were not entitled.
Video:
Porter said:
What California does is very different from what Texas does. Firstly, California hoped that if we said that we would do this, that Texas would have broken down, that they would come back to what we have seen, which only redirected a census.
They did not do it. Second, the Texas Legislative Assembly is the one that acts here. A legislature deeply Gerrymande in California who will make this decision. The inhabitants of California. We therefore use a democratic tool to reshape our democracy in response to the authoritarian extreme anti -democratic activity that we see in Washington.
And the last thing I will say is that it is temporary. Built in the language that the Californians will envisage, it is, uh, the fact that it will be, California will return, its very important independent redistribution process, very revolutionary, very, very very excellent. Here in just a few years. It is therefore a response to what I hope to be a short-term anti-democratic activity of Washington.
This is where traditional corporate media falls completely in work. California does not do what Texas does, and instead of emphasizing the difference, because the difference is critical, the media criticize democrats for having Daring Ring.
The corporate media went to the point where, unless a spectator looks at MSNBC, he will not hear the authoritarian word used as part of Donald Trump.
California takes an important measure to try to stop an authoritarian who tries to translate a mid-term election because he knows that his party will lose.
Instead of treating California Democrats as if they were bad guys, the press should cover the state that feels the need to take this measure.
Speaking why California would do this to discuss Trump’s contemptuous way, and as the vast majority of the press is too frightened to evoke the subject, Katie Porter must explain to television that what her state does is a decision to protect and strengthen democracy, not the hypothesis and weaken it.
