High Noon has expressed the recall of one of its popular Vodka Seltzer drinks, saying that some packages may contain Celsius energy drinks filled with alcoholic drinks.
The cans, labeled like Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, were found in certain expeditions of High Noon’s Beach Variety 12 Packs.
The error could lead people to unconsciously consume alcohol, which presents health and safety risks, especially for children or those who avoid it for medical or religious reasons. No illness or injury has been reported as part of this recall.
The problem was assigned to a packaging supplier that accidentally sent Celsius brand cans in noon facilities, according to a press release on the American Food and Drug Administration website.
The affected products were sent to retailers and distributors at the end of July. They have been distributed in several states, including Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin.
High Noon urges customers to throw the Celsius cans which can be assigned and to contact the company for a refund.
High Noon is one of the fastest growth-ready-to-drink alcohol brands in the United States, owned by E. & J. Gallo Winery. The brand is best known for its Seltzers with vodka with fruit flavor sold in varieties packs.
