President Mike Johnson (R-La) Try to deceive the American people to believe that Trump and the Republicans have not removed health care from tens of millions of people.

President Johnson said on Meet The Press:

The bill does not cut Medicaid. The only major bill does not cut Medicaid. What he does is strengthen the program. And we talked about it, Kristen is that the problem is that there is a high degree of fraud, waste and abuse in this program.

I’m talking about $ 10 billion each year. What we did is that we entered to go there and solve this problem. We have introduced work requirements, which is a very popular concept in the public opinion poll because it makes sense. Medicaid is a safety net program. It is intended for the elderly, for disabled pregnant women, young mothers. And these resources are drained because you had valid young men, for example, without a dependent person who goes up in the wagon. This is not true. It is morally false. And that does not behave with the law. So what we have done in our major bill is that we went to the size of these guys in this program. They now have work requirements, 20 hours a week.

Video:

They must either work, looking for a job, in a work training program or to volunteer in their community, which is good for them and their environment. We find dignity in our work. We are proud of this reform. And by the way, there was a Harris and Harvard survey which was released about two weeks ago. And they examined 17 of the 21 primary provisions in this major bill. And 17 out of 21 are the majority supported in the public. And it is after the assault of the consumer media and the democrats who lie on the bill. We are therefore delighted to go out in the districts in August and to tell the truth.

Kristen Welker asked Johnson why Senator Josh Hawley is trying to make Medicaid cuts back if the cuts do not exist, and the speaker replied: “I did not speak to my friend Josh Hawley not for the illegal extraterrestrials.

Johnson’s assertion is that everyone is lying on the Medicaid cuts, but the Republicans tell the truth.

All non -partisan offices and analysts are liars.

It is something for a man who claims to be a person of faith and a Christian to look at the American people in the eye and lie to them with such ease.

The Epstein scandal made people forget that the Republicans have reduced taxes for the rich and paid by keeping the health care of those who are most in need.

Mike Johnson and the Republicans of the House are about to spend the whole month of August to discover how the American people have not forgotten.
