John Berman de CNN asked the representative Pete Sessions, who is a member of the Chamber’s supervisory committee:
You have just tackled a very important point. There is nothing that indicates reprehensible acts of President Trump or the citizen of the time, Donald Trump. And all that is connected to Jeffrey Epstein. And I know you believe that, and we certainly have no reason to believe it and we have not seen any relation to this subject. So, if that is the case, would you support, you know, the Ministry of Justice? Do you want to ask the Attorney General, simply publish all Donald Trump’s mentions in the files? If there is no evidence or no suggestion that he has done anything wrong, why not just release where his name appears?
The sessions replied and gave the republican game: “Well, I hope that and I try to be frank. I don’t think Donald Trump. And the American people and the Republicans want these evidence, even if a name is not associated with the facts of the case to go out so that the police and the people who are women and mothers and grandfathers like me understand the game that was played, that they, on the whole, have fled with at least the facts, the case, if it is not the names. “”
The story on Trump does not publish Epstein files does not concern Donald Trump. The story really talks about Jeffrey Epstein. The representatives’ sessions never answered the question of why not release the files if Trump is innocent.
The answer is that no one is 100%sure, and since it is Donald Trump of which we are talking about, it is unlikely that the president is innocent.
If the republican thought that Epstein files contained the names of powerful political opponents, and were not, at least, not terrible for Trump, they would have released them a long time ago.
The Republicans will move the goal posts if Maxwell testifies on August 13 before the chamber’s supervisory committee. Do not expect a serious questioning of the Committee Republicans, because all of this will be to make everything that is apart from Donald Trump.
The Républicains of the Chamber cannot give direct answers to simple questions about Trump and Epstein, which means that Democrats will have an excellent opportunity to shoot the tables of the show that the Republicans want to stage to protect Trump.
What do you think that sessions cannot answer such a fundamental question? Share your reflections in the comments below.
