Comcast Spinoff Admitting the Board of Directors

Comcast On Thursday, announced the expected members of the board of directors of its spinout of cable networks, slope.

They come from history in the media, technology, finance and other industries, according to slope.

Square will be the parent company of what is now the cable networks of Nbcuniversal, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, Syfy and Golf Channel. On the digital front, it is also ready to house Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, Golfnow, Golfpass and Sports Engine.

The spin-off should be completed by the end of this year.

Here is the list of members of the board of directors:

Mark Lazarus

Mark Lazarus is the CEO of slope. Previously, he was president of the Nbcuniversal Media Group.

David Novak

Rebecca Campbell

Rebecca Campbell is the former president of international content and operations in The Walt Disney Company.

Creighton Condon

Creighton Condon is a lawyer for the World Cabinet of A & O Shearman.

Michael Conway

Michael Conway is the old CEO of Starbucks North America. Before Starbucks, he worked at Johnson & Johnson And Campbell soup Company.

David Eun

David Eun is a founding advisor to the generative society of artificial intelligence Kanza Ai, who focuses on health, well-being and medicine. He is also co-founder of the investment company Alakai Group. Previously, he was president and chief of innovation of Samsung Electronics.

Gerald Hassell

Gerald Hassell is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The New York Mellon Bank. He is also a former director of Comcast and Metlife.

Scott Mahoney

Scott Mahoney is the Chairman and CEO of Peter Millar, a golf clothing company.

Maritza Montiel

Maritza Montiel is the former assistant CEO and Vice-President of American Affairs of Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Montiel has sat on the board of directors of McCormick Over the past 10 years and is currently on the board of directors of Cruise Company Royal Caribbean. She is a former director of Comcast and Aptar.

Len Potter

Len Potter founded WildCat Capital Management, a registered placement advisor, and has been president and chief executive in his departure. He is also founder and principal director general of Vida Ventures, a biotechnological venture capital fund.

Disclosure: Comcast is the parent company of Nbcuniversal, owner of CNBC. Square would become the new parent company of CNBC as part of the proposed spin-off.
