Trump’s criticisms do not understand his second presidency. Trump does not care about being a fascist, or a dictator, or cling to power forever. Trump pilots are greed and ego. Trump wants to destroy the railings so that his ego can feel all powerful, and he can get as much money as possible.
Trump’s second presidency aims to erase history. Trump wants to discredit the 2020 elections because it makes him a loser. Trump has already tried to whiten the 1/6 attack by forgiveness criminals who tried to overthrow the government on his behalf, and he has Pam Bondi dismissals anyone who worked on business against him.
No matter what he does, Trump cannot rewrite history. The president’s own history follows him everywhere. Jeffrey Epstein is a ghost that continues to haunt Trump. He cannot make Epstein disappear.
