Boeing Delivered 60 planes last month, the most since December 2023, while the aircraft manufacturer is looking to increase the production of its 737 successful maximum jets after a series of manufacturing and safety problems.

The count was the highest since a door cap of one of its new aircraft 737 Max 9 was blowing in January 2024, triggering a new crisis for society and slowing production and aircraft deliveries. On the monthly total, 42 were 737 maxes, going to customers, in particular Southwest Airlines,, Alaska Airlines And United Airlines.

CEO Kelly Ortberg, who took the first job in Boeing last August, said that the company had progressed in improving production and quality rates on its factory lines.

During the three months completed on June 30, Boeing gave more than 150 planes, his best second quarter since 2018, before two maximum aircraft accidents five months of interval the jets and triggered a multi -year crisis in the high American exporter. It was also last year that Boeing published an annual profit. His problems also gave his rival Airbus a greater advance on Boeing.

Boeing this spring had produced around 38 maximum planes per month and will need approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to go above this limit, which the agency set after the door taking. Ortberg said at a conference on Bernstein investors at the end of May that it was convinced that the company could increase production to 42 from the jets per month.

The company reserved 116 gross orders in June, or 70 net orders during cancellations and accounting adjustments. Boeing often removes or adds orders to its backwards for various reasons, including the financial health of customers.

Boeing’s backwards was 5,953 to June 30.

The manufacturer is expected to announce financial results in the second quarter on July 29, when investors concentrate on the Ortberg plan to increase production and aircraft deliveries.
