Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) was the republican who voted yesVice-president of Llow, JD Vance, to break equality 50-50 To advance tax reductions for the rich paid by removing the food and health bill (BBB).

After the vote, Senator Murkowski told journalists that she hoped that the Chamber will reject the bill because it is not done and needs more work: “I hope the room will look at this and recognize that we are not yet there.”

When asked why she voted for the bill, Murkowski said: “Kill it and off it. There is a tax impact that will make people of my state.”

Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY) replied on X that even the Republicans know that this bill should be arrested: “Even the Republicans who voted for this bill know how dangerous it is for American families. I implore the Republicans in the House to show the courage of their colleague from the Senate.

Murkowski’s reasoning makes no sense.

There are several legislative alternatives which could be continued in addition to this bill.

Tax reductions do not express before the end of the year. The congress could easily prolong the tax reductions without cutting Medicaid and removing food aid. The Republicans of the moderate chamber and certain Democrats of the Chamber have spoken of a tax agreement for months which has not reduced Medicaid or food assistance.

There is also common sense reasoning that if this bill is so terrible that even people who voted for that do not like it, maybe it should disappear.

Instead of thinking only of appeasing Trump, the Republicans should explain why they don’t like this bill and what, if necessary, can be done to repair it.

The “Big Beautiful Bill” is a piece of trash can that seems to be hated by almost everyone.

The whole country needs some Republicans with the courage to get him out of his misery.

Unfortunately, Republicans with guts have been difficult to find in the past ten years.

What do you think of Murkowski voting for the bill, then telling the Republicans to reject it? Share your opinions in the comments below.
