McDonald's Snack Wraps will return to American restaurants next month while the fast food giant is trying to increase sales after the start of the slow year.
McDonald's introduced snacks ended almost two decades ago, but interrupted the article in 2016 because it slowed down its kitchens too much. Some franchisees have kept snacks until 2020, when McDonald's reduced its menu during pandemic locking COVVI-19 so that the service works as well as possible. The snack envelopes have disappeared with salads and perfect.
McDonald's customers are demanding the return of snacks for years, starting petitions, asking questions about this in the Drive-Thru and Tweeter Takes in McDonald's official X account. His return on July 10 comes when sales of McDonald's slow, injured by cautious expenses of consumers. The chain of hamburgers said that its sales at stores comparable to the United States decreased by 3.6% in the first quarter.
This time, McDonald's Snack Wraps will be manufactured with one of the chain's McCrispyPy bands, which was launched nationally in May. The wraps will come in two flavors: spicy and ranch.
“The market continues to show that the consumer is interested in this product. We want to make sure that we meet the needs of our customers on this subject,” said McDonald's CEO analysts, Chris Kempczinski, referring to the packaging of snacks in early May.
The menu item is part of the wider thrust of McDonald's beyond the beef in the chicken. The success of restaurants such as Chick-Fil-A, Popeyes, Raising Cane's and Dave's Hot Chicken has made chicken a category of rapidly growing restaurants in recent years.
The return of McDonald's Snack Wraps could ignite the next stage of the so-called chicken wars. Restaurant Brands International Popeyes announced on Monday his own plug with his “generously size chicken wraps”, wrapped in a tortilla inspired by her cookies and available for a limited period.
