Some democratic senators are not assisted and do not wait until three committees in the Chamber mark legislation that would remove health care of nearly 14 million people.

Sense. Booker, Smith, Schatz walked through the Capitol to deliver the letters of their protesting voters against the Medicaid cups.

The senators said: “” We are going to put letters from our voters on how these Medicaid cuts are damaging that the room is currently occupying, 14 million people losing their health insurance. And we want to draw attention to what they are trying to do. »»

Video:

This is exactly the kind of thing that Democrats have to do. Democrats cannot let the Republicans take down while they do this markup.

Pressure on republicans must come from all sides and from all directions.

The Republicans of the moderate house are worried about the Medicaid cuts, but they should stop as soon as Trump begins to put pressure on them.

The real chance to stop these cups is in the Senate where a group of 5 Republicans declared their opposition to any Medicaid cup.

What the Democratic senators have done was draw attention to what the Republicans do, and attention is the last thing that the republicans of the room want.

Democrats and the American people will have to be implacable for the next two weeks because history is repeated because the Republicans are buried to eliminate the health care of millions of Americans. This time, they want to make millions of people sick to give permanent tax reductions to the rich.

What do you think of senators who present themselves in the room? Share your reflections in the comments below.
