Over the years, I have covered Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a consistency his relations with the consumer media was his low tolerance for political nonsense and division issues.

Meet Kristen Welker of the press tried to use Sanders and the tour of the combat oligarchy to ask him if he was trying to start a third party, because Sanders suggested that people get into politics and present themselves as independent.
Sanders video on meeting the press:
Senator Sanders gave an interesting answer:
No, we are not trying to start a third party. What we are trying to do is strengthen American democracy, where faith in democratic and republican parties at the moment is extremely weak. We live, Kristen, in the richest country in world history. And yet, you got a person, Mr. Musk, who has more wealth than 53% of American households. It’s crazy. It is the oligarchy on steroids. Meanwhile, we have 60% of our workers who live the pay check at the pay check. We have the highest infant poverty rate of almost all large nations on earth. And we have more than 20% of the elderly in America living $ 15,000 per year or less. What the American people say is that they want, and what our tour was is to say that they want an economy that works for all of us, not only for Mr. Musk and other billionaires.
Now my concern right now is that you have democrats appropriately – and I work with them – speaking of the Trump movement towards authoritarianism. Vigorously opposing the so-called reconciliation bill to give more than one dollars billion in 1% tax reduction and make massive cuts in Medicaid, nutrition and housing. Oppose Musk to dismember the Social Security Administration and the administration of veterans, which makes our veterans difficult to obtain health care or decent benefits. We are on the same wavelength.
