The Democrats of the Senate are hindering everything and burning the Republicans

The Democrats of the Senate are in the minority, they therefore do not have the power to direct the hearings of the Committee and to conduct official investigations, but the minority in the Senate has more power than in the House, where the majority still reigns. ODo not ways in which the Democrats of the Senate can protest and slow down the Trump administration is to use procedural movements to make everything as slow as possible And to force the Senate Republicans to grind each accomplishment.

Axios reported that the Republicans of the Senate feel the fatigue of the Democrats transforming the Senate into Slog:

Thirteen weeks of session, 213 votes, 55 confirmations, two votes a-ramas and a final vote at 2 am-The Republicans of the Senate could not be more ready for a two-week recreation.

Why this counts: the Republicans demanded that their new leader will again do the Senate. The head of the majority, John Thune, responded to the call, but the Republicans feel the effects of the democratic opposition.

  • Thune had to constantly haggle with the minority leader Chuck Schumer during voting hours, and the delays of the Democrats were particularly drained, said the Republicans.

  • Senate employees also had to remain agile, needing to reprogram meetings or appearances with the media in recent weeks.

  • Tomorrow will mark the 100th day of the 119th Congress. The hopes for a game game Thursday afternoon were spoiled by the Democratic titles on President Trump’s candidate for the president of the joint staff chiefs.

When people comment on democrats in the Senate who do not do more, or that they suggest that ultimately Democrats do something, I find that it is often because they have no idea what the Democrats of the Senate do.

The Senate Democrats are trying to tell the country what they do almost every day. The problem is that the consumer media ignore the Democrats and live in a bubble centered on Trump.

The Democrats of the Senate hold several press conferences per week. From what I have observed, the number of them which are televised by the cable are generally zero.

Even the so-called left-handed media like MSNBC spend 90% or more of its antenna time focused on Trump.

The Senate Democrats slow down the Senate and have an impact. It was almost 100 days of control of the Republican Congress, and the Trump agenda is still sitting around, collecting dust.

The work right now for the Senate Democrats is to make sure that nothing is easy for Trump and his party.

Judging by the complaints of Republican senators, which they do.
