DETROIT – General Motors On Monday, a new, fully electric Chevrolet concept Corvette concept on Monday as part of the opening of a new design studio in England.
The car has an elegant and aerodynamic exterior that looks more like a futuristic ima racing car more than a traditional corvette, but it pays tribute to the American sports car with a design of divided windows from the 1963 Sting Ray model, among other elements of design.
GM said that the new concept – which is a “design study” is not intended to be a production model – and the design studio shows that continuous Detroit commitment to the automaker in Europe while the company evolves its Cadillac electric vehicle activities there, while preparing to launch Corvette sales “in the region.
The Corvette Concept and the opening of the British design center are at an inappropriate time while the United States and the largest automobile markets in the world participate in a trade war with prices, especially between America and Europe.

GM tries to reintegrate Europe after having sold its European Division Opel to then the PSA group, which is now part of Stelllantisin 2017.
Car manufacturers regularly use conceptual vehicles to assess the interests of customers, present future technologies and report management of a vehicle or brand.
GM said on Monday that the British concept was part of a global design project involving several studios that will see additional corvette concepts revealed throughout 2025. The automaker has other design studios in or near Detroit, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Seoul, South Korea.
