In the event that someone need more evidence that something special is happening at the local level in the United States at the moment, take a moment and watch part of the Speech by representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during the Rally of the oligarchy of fighting Las Vegas.
The participants and speakers of this event did not speak in terms of partisan policy. The representative Ocasio-Cortez welcomed everyone, which they voted for a democrat or a republican, but what is under construction is not political.
It is a cultural movement against the billionaire class and the attempted redistribution upwards national wealth to those who have the most to the detriment of everyone.

We must be honest where we are, because we are witnessing an oligarchy in America. It is at this point that those who have the most economical, political and technological power destroy the property of the public to enrich themselves while millions of Americans pay the price. And we are at a point where the richest people in the world like Elon Musk, allowing him to plunder what remains of Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security to finance even deeper tax reductions and romantic contracts for themselves, their billionaire colleagues and their societies.
