Donald Trump will pronounce an address to a joint congress session on March 4, which will provide Democrats with their first opportunity to appear before the nation and make a strong contrast with the first billionaire program of Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Democrats had to give refutation to someone who is the opposite of the billionaires out of contact who currently directs the federal government.

Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries chose Elissa Slotkin to deliver the answer.

Schumer said: “Elissa Slotkin devoted her life to defending our country, serving the American people and fighting for Michigan. As nothing less than a growing star in our party, Elissa has proven that she can advance things: whether it is to fight for lower costs, affordable health care, defending our economic and national security, or defending all families in Michigan. She will offer a daring vision of hope, unity and a better future for everyone, not just the rich at the top. Elissa Slotkin will set up the fight to meet the deep challenges we face today, trace a way to follow and shape the future of our nation. »»

Jeffries said: “Elissa Slotkin is a life official, a respected national security expert and a former member of the Democratic Caucus of the Chamber. She will deliver a global and clear response to the president’s joint address and will communicate that the Democrats are fighting to reduce the cost of living and protect Social Security and Medicaid while the Republicans have reduced taxes for their billionaire and Elon Musk donors. Elissa transmitted a convincing message to the American people. »»

Slotkin said, “I can’t wait to speak directly to the American people next week. The public expects the leaders to develop with them on what is really going on in our country. From our economic security to our national security, we have to trace a way to follow that really improves people’s lives in the country we all love, and I can’t wait to have this. “”

It would be a professional fault if the Democrats do not spend the whole answer to Trump’s speech hammering cost and inflation problems.

Democrats are expected to also shive Trump and his Social Security, health insurance and Medicaid party.

Trump said he had nothing to do with inflation, and he will not clearly talk about the rise in prices and inflation during his speech. Trump will repeat the republican lie that they do not cut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, so democrats must be ready to call these declarations.

Slotkin is a moderate swing state with national security training that campaigned for its Senate headquarters on the issue of lowering costs for American families. In other words, it is the opposite of Trump.

If the Democrats want to lay the foundations for a successful resumption of power in 2026, it starts with their response to Trump’s speech next week.

What do you think of the idea of Senator Slotkin delivering the democratic response? Share your reflections in the comments below.
