A U.S. judge bars NSO Group from targeting WhatsApp users and reduces the approximately $168 million damages verdict awarded to Meta by a jury in May to $4 million, saying it was excessive.— Meta previously won $168 million in damages over allegations that spyware compromised WhatsApp users, but a judge reduced the damages to $4 million.
