Senator Bernie Sanders said to the American people exactly what the decision of the secretary of HHS, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to reject each member of the advisory committee of vaccines will mean for the American people.
Senator Sanders said in a press release:
Let's be clear: the dismissal of independent vaccine experts is a dangerous and unprecedented decision that will make it more difficult for the American people to access vaccines that are safe, effective and essential to save lives. For decades, secretary Kennedy has spread lies and conspiracy theories on vaccines.
Now, with Trump's support, he doubles disinformation that will lead to avoidable illness and death. At a time when we should strengthen confidence in science and expand access to health care, this administration is exactly the opposite. It is a continuation of the dangerous war of Trump and Kennedy against science. He cannot bear.
Bernie Sanders was right. People will be sick and people will die. Avoidable diseases will kill Americans. Kennedy implements his war several decades against medical sciences and federal health policy.
Kennedy used HHS to spread lies and disinformation. The United States is in the unprecedented situation not to be able to believe what the government tells them about public health.
If the Democrats renew the room, RFK JR. is one of the most likely members of Trump's office to go to outings before the Democrats can take power and start to hold hearings.
There is a large quantity of alleged corruption in the Trump administration, but what RFK Jr. is doing is even worse than corruption. He harms the health of American men, women and children with plots and disinformation.
Bernie Sanders has entered RFK Jr. since before his confirmation audiences. Sanders fights to protect American life when he seems that Kennedy tries to end them.
