Donald Trump’s terrible budget was never lucky. Perception is only because the Republicans have refused to take measures to stop Trump significantly, they will do whatever he wants and will act as a rubber stamp, but as regards the budget, the Senate Republicans were not about to play.

NBC News reported on some of Trump’s budget cuts:
Trump’s budget offers a variety of steep reductions in well -known government programs, including the reduction of the National Institutes of Health of $ 18 billion compared to the levels of 2025, the low -income energy assistance program (LIHEAP) of $ 4 billion and the centers for Disease Control and Prevention of $ 3.6 billion.
Trump has targeted public assistance programs, including housing, arts programs and medical research. The big winner was Elon Musk, who would have received taxpayers’ piles as part of Trump’s plan.
The Senate Republicans quickly clearly indicated that Trump’s budget was Doa:
Burgess Everett de Semafor has published on X:
President of the Credits of the Senate Collins on the request for Trump’s budget: “serious objections to the frost proposed in our defense financing given the security challenges that we face and the financing reductions proposed to – and in certain cases of elimination – of programs like LIHEAP, TRIO”
McConnell and Wicker do not like McConnell either: “The budget request doubles on the material negligence of the Biden Administration for the threats of flagrant national security” “this budget would reduce the military options of President Trump and its lever effect of negotiation”
Collins said that Trump’s budget would be treated as a “recommendation” by the Senate credits committee, which means that it died as a Doornail.
The reason why talking about presidential budgets is a waste of time is that they never go anywhere.
In the case of Trump, everyone already knows what he is trying to cut, because he has already tried illegally to stop funding for many of these programs.
Trump’s budget is already, but that doesn’t mean it was not full of terrible ideas. It was, and it should be used against Republicans in mid-term elections.
