Since the death of Pope Francis, who did not seem to be a fan of the president, Donald Trump has been laughing at Catholics. His supporters like Senator Lindsey Graham floated Trump’s name to be the next pope.
Trump recently published an image that was reprimanded by the White House of itself as a pope:
The Catholic Conference of New York State was not amused because they published above the image that Trump shared:
There is nothing intelligent or funny in this image, Mr. President. We have just built our beloved pope François and the cardinals are about to enter a solemn conclave to elect a new successor from Saint-Pierre. Don’t make fun of us.
Make people who are in pain or weakness is what Donald Trump does.
Ruth Ben-Ghiat posted on X in response to Trump’s post:

The reason the United States is in a dangerous cycle right now is that Trump fails as president.
The more Donald Trump fails as president, the more he will become detached from reality. The more it is detached from reality, the more dangerous it becomes.
I do not want to say dangerous in terms of military flap on the American people. Dangerous as he begins a war with Iran.
The only thing that has become clear to Trump’s presidency is that his administration is constantly looking for ways to abuse power where they will not be disputed.
It is common sense that if Trump becomes delusional enough, he would use his power as commander -in -chief to attack another country and trigger a war.
Trump must constantly be loved, it is therefore perfectly logical that he will launch an attack abroad and expect the American people to join the flag.
Each Catholic organization must denounce Trump for his post. Donald Trump sends all signals. Its administration has already shown that public pressure is working, and it will decrease if enough people get up and say no.
There can never be a moment removed. Until Trump has the power to remove it by democrats who gain power in the mid-term elections, the American people must be tireless to repel against Trump.
Trump sends a signal to people of faith. Now it’s time to intensify.
