Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security is still closed because Senate Democrats are blocking the funding bill due to the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown. Given the security concerns you just expressed and the fact that, honestly, Secretary Noem was fired and Tom Homan succeeded Greg Bovino and Noem in Minnesota, one could argue that the Democrats won the debate.
Isn’t it time for Democrats to reopen and defund DHS?
Democrats should cave and defund ICE and Border Patrol because Kristi Noem was fired and Trump has started a war of choice. At least that’s what Jake Tapper seems to suggest.
