Kristi Noem wants to be president and she’s using the Department of Homeland Security as a launching pad to act as a shadow president while Trump is in office.

The Wall Street Journal recently published an article about Noem’s White House ambitions and the clown show she puts on at DHS:
Early in the administration, Noem allocated $200 million from the department’s budget to run an ad campaign in which she warned illegal immigrants in the country – in English – to “leave now.”
…
The ads angered many within the administration because they believed the campaign was more focused on her than the administration’s message, and signaled Noem’s own presidential aspirations.
The secretary refers to internal DHS meetings with subagency heads as “cabinet meetings,” which some staffers see as further evidence, according to people familiar with the meetings.
Noem is a Trump family values Republican who is reportedly having an affair with Corey Lewandowski even though both are currently married. It used to be that a person who made these so-called lifestyle choices would be disqualified from the presidency, but in Trump’s party they can consider themselves a 2028 candidate.
The Secretary of DHS, like the rest of the executive branch, has no role in overseeing elections in the United States.
That hasn’t kept Noem and her endlessly shadowy presidential campaign ever since wading through the SAVE Act, who is already dead when he arrives in the Senate.
