During his first term, Donald Trump’s racism was always present. Trump’s bigotry focused on not celebrating Holocaust Memorial Day, ignoring MLK Day, and who can forget Trump’s classic response, calling the murderous, torch-bearing white supremacists in Charlottesville very good people on both sides.
Trump’s racism was obvious, but it sounded more like a dog whistle.
However, his racist message describing the Obamas as monkeys, which he admitted to approving before it was posted, while claiming he had not seen the entire video, made his racism so obvious that he slapped the American people with a neon sign reading LOOK AT THIS RACIST PRESIDENT!!!

Trump made the situation worse by refusing to apologize for this message, and now we’re adding fuel to the fire.
On Sunday morning, Gov. Wes Moore told CNN’s State Of The Union that he was not invited to a National Governors Association dinner at the White House.
CNN’s Dana Bash asked Moore: “President Trump will host an annual governors’ meeting at the White House. He invites only Republican governors to this, which is traditionally a bipartisan event, and he specifically excludes you and Democratic Governor Jared Polis from a separate dinner. You are the vice president of the National Governance Association. Do you know why you are being called out and excluded?”
