The main reason why Republicans broke with Trump and we abandon it After Alex Pretti was killed by Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, Pretti was a licensed gun owner who was legally allowed to carry a concealed weapon.

The Trump administration used Pretti exercising his Second Amendment rights to justify his shooting and killing.

The Trump White House trampled on the Second Amendment to justify the shooting. The video shows that Pretti was not brandishing his gun. He did not threaten federal agents. He was trying to help a woman who had been pushed to the ground when he was approached and assaulted by Border Patrol agents who took Pretti’s gun away from him, then shot and killed him.

The last thing Donald Trump should do is blame the gun, but that’s exactly what he did while speaking to reporters before leaving for Iowa.

Trump said: “You can’t have guns. You can’t come in with a gun. You can’t do that.”

Donald Trump managed to blame the victim and crush the Second Amendment in two sentences.

Video extract:

Trump has already decided that Pretti was responsible for Border Patrol agents shooting him, so the next part wasn’t a big surprise.
