President Mike Johnson (R-La) has been working on a strategy for days to prevent his own members from joining the Democrats To prevent the adoption of legislation which would oblige the Doj to publish the Epstein files.

Johnson understands that any bill coming out of the room in Epstein files will have overwhelming support in the Senate, it is probably enough to prevail over a veto of Trump, so the room is Trump’s final line of defense to block the release of the files.

So, the The president refuses to hold a vote.

What the republican management of the Chamber has decided to do is close the legislative process by putting the house on the ice for 6 weeks.

Meredith Lee Hill de Politico published on X:

The Rules of the Chamber’s Rules Committee does not come back at all this evening and probably not this week in the middle of Epstein + other problems, by Sources Scalise confirms that it is “unlikely” of the return rules – which means that the Chamber would leave without advancing immigration and several other bills.

The representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) wants answers to explain why the Republicans close the house for six weeks:

Ummm So let me do myself directly: the Republicans stop at the Congress on the ground and plan to adjourn the whole house for 6 weeks to avoid publishing the information they have on Epstein? What’s going on here?

What is happening here is that the Republicans and the White House ferment so that the members cannot do not to free up the Epstein files, and Trump hopes that the scandal will disappear during the month and a half.

The republican management of the Chamber is so afraid that the files are published that they are ready to close the house before the recess of August, which is generally a busy period before the members returned home for a month, in the hope of stopping the momentum behind the publication of the files.

If Trump has nothing to hide, why are the republicans of the house going to this extreme to cover for him?

AOC is right. Something is happening here. Republicans cover the abuses and the assault of women and girls On Donald Trump’s orders.
