Bernie Sanders moves to tip the special elections of Florida House by approving Josh Weil

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) attracts some of the largest political crowds in person observed for decades for his tour of the oligarchy. While Trump attacks Social Security, health insurance and Medicaid, Sanders maintained his most important voice position not only to save these programs but also expand them.

There are two special elections for the seats of the American house in Florida on Tuesday that everyone takes place in the districts that Trump carried by thirty points or more which are among the most conservative areas of the red state of Florida.

These are not places where Democrats should be competitive at a distance, But in the sixth district of Florida, the Democrat Josh Weil collected more than $ 9 million compared to the $ 92,000 that he is in the process of republican opponent and is about to outperform.

If democrats must have a chance to perform well, they need the whole left on board, which makes Senator Sanders of Weil so important.

Sanders said by approving Weil:

Josh Weil is a father of two children in the working class and a college teacher who knows what it is to live the pay check with pay check. Unlike his opponent, he has no super pecs supported by billionaires supporting him.

Josh would be a voice at the Congress which understands why we must protect social security, health insurance and medicaid and not give massive tax alternatives to billionaires. He understands that we must keep our promise to veterans, wants to extend the union movement and estimates that all children deserve quality education.

As older independent in Congress, I am convinced that he will be a basic champion for the Florida working class, and I am proud to approve him.

The progressives led the charge during these special elections, but the brutal reality is that a Weil victory would be one of the greatest upheavals of American policy this year because there are not enough democrats and independent voters in the district to win with a high participation rate among these voters.

A democratic victory would require a large number of Republicans to vote for the Democratic candidate, and it is a most improbable scenario in a deep red district.

A more reasonable barometer of democratic success would be a republican victory of 12 points or less.

Honestly, the most important election on Tuesday is not in Florida. It is the special special election of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin where the survey shows that the Democrats direct, but Elon Musk seems to be engaged in an illegal operation to purchase votes in the state.

It is unlikely that Democrats will win the House’s special elections in Florida, but if they are getting closer, it will be enough to add to increasing republican panic around 2026 which is starting to take control of their party.

Senator Sanders tries to help Josh Weil overcome the bump, because in a year when the political environment has suddenly turned against the Republicans, each seat in every corner of the country should be disputed.

If Weil gets closer to Florida, he will send a message to Trump and the GOP that their imperial presidency and their oligarchy are rejected.

Tuesday is a test of democratic momentum, and everything is on deck for those who fight for democracy.
