After Hillary Clinton’s deposition, House Oversight Committee member Robert Garcia (D-CA) began his speech by talking about Clinton and the fact that she was being impeached.
Garcia said:
I would like to start by clarifying and emphasizing something that is very important, and it is something that the secretary herself said. Secretary Clinton never met Jeffrey Epstein. She has never visited the island. She never flew and had no knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific crime.
So, no knowledge of any wrongdoing, and you also all heard that directly from his secretary, Clinton is also fully cooperating with the deposition and the committee, and answering questions in good faith and in good faith, what is not acceptable is the Oversight Republicans breaking their own committee rules that they established with the secretary and her team.
Which you all reported seeing by posting unacceptable photos, and it is thanks to the secretary and her team for continuing the deposition.
Rep. Garcia made the connection between Republicans going after someone with no connection to Epstein to covering up for someone who definitely did.
