Trump claimed wind turbines endanger airliners:
Between immigration and because of, you know, environmental things like windmills taking over, people hate them. Um, energy is by far the most expensive and, uh, we fight very hard to make sure that they don’t get built. I hope we don’t have just one bill. During my tenure, we inherited some contracts that, uh, were reduced a little bit.
We try to end it for many different reasons. One of the reasons, as you mentioned, is endangerment. The army is also a danger for airliners. So we’re trying to take care of those situations now. They should never have been allowed in the first place.
