A new survey commissioned by a common cause revealed that Trump had perhaps led the Republicans to Texas to a big error that has angry state voters. Common Cause commissioned a survey of more than 2,000 Texas voters who asked questions about the Gerrymandering, and the recent Republican Gerrymandering of the state decade at the request of Donald Trump.
The strengths of The survey This could be bad news for the Republicans:

An overwhelming majority of Texas voters (74%) support the independent commissions made up of ordinary citizens to trace district lines instead of state legislators. This includes the support of 68% of republican voters, 77% of independent voters and 67% of Donald Trump voters.
Congress experts take only three of the five seats that the Republicans have burst as may return to the GOP. The other two are swing districts that the Democrats could keep, so it is very possible that the Texas Republicans alienated the voters of the state and do not obtain the five seats they redrawn the map to obtain.
Voters do not like gerrymandering. Voters do not want gerrymandering, and in Texas, the Republicans could end up paying a serious price in the 2026 elections for their actions.
Texas Gerrymander relies on the Hispanics who continue to support Trump, but Trump’s approval rating has dropped with Hispanic voters.
Gerrymandering could turn against In Texas, and if this is the case, the Republicans will only have Donald Trump to blame.
