Trump to close the government and increase the prices of prescription drugs to 100% on the same day

The voters who were on the fence and who voted for Donald Trump in 2024 thought they were voting for someone who would get rid of inflation and lower prices on the first day, to use Trump’s own words.

What they get is something very different.

Politicususa tells the truth to any power of both parties. We are 100% independent, so plan to support us by becoming a subscriber.

The government is about to close because Trump refuses to meet the Democrats of the Congress to obtain the votes it needs to keep it open.

A government closure will make economic damage, but apparently not enough to please Donald Trump because the president has also announced a new series of prices on his social media platform.

Trump posted:

From October 1, 2025, we will impose a 100% price on any brand pharmaceutical or patented product, unless a company builds its pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in America. “The building is” will be defined as a “rupture plot” and / or “under construction”. There will therefore be no rate on these pharmaceutical products if the construction has started. Thank you for your attention to this question!

Just for kicks, Trump also struck the building and renovation sector:

We will impose a price of 50% on all kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and associated products, from October 1, 2025. In addition, we will charge a 30% price on padded furniture. The reason is the large-scale “flood” of these products in the United States by other external countries. It is a very unfair practice, but we must protect, for national security and other reasons, our manufacturing process. Thank you for your attention to this question!

It will also impose a price on the manufacture of heavy trucks, as it does not understand that its prices harm the manufacturing sector.

On the day of the government closure, the man responsible for the closure will also increase the prices of prescription drugs.
