There are three special elections of the US House to come to fill seats left vacant by Republicans who joined the Trump administration. These districts were all won by Trump, so the Republicans thought they would have no problem keeping these seats.

At least one of the seats in Florida Us House made them feel worried.
Jake Sherman from Punchbowl News published on X:
Just a massively breathtaking cash disparity in the FL-6, where there will be a special next week to replace @Michaelgwaltz. Democrat Josh Weil collected $ 9 million and has $ 1.2 million at hand. Republican Randy Fine collected $ 987,759 and $ 92,693 in hand. It is a District and Trump waltz won by 30. The Republicans on the hill and in WhF worries a little for this seat.
Republicans should be concerned about this seat. Weil was aggressive in its fundraising. The money does not equivalent voices, it will therefore take more than a fundraising advantage to win a district that is Trump (+30).
The sixth of Florida will be an interesting test. If the Republicans keep the seat but lose 20 points of their level less than six months ago, it will be a sign of a significant change against the president and his party.
A democratic victory would be a political earthquake, and that would send Trump and his party in a complete panic before 2026.
The Republicans were too confident and act as if they had bought their own BS to have a mandate.
The American people are angry and they will show this anger during the special elections.
Even with a large fundraising advantage, there remains a climb up to return the FL-06 seat, but a strong performance should be sufficient to let the Republicans know that they are in great difficulty.
