It has become the model to which all subsequent presidential libraries aspired. And today, Donald Trump has closed the presidential library of John F. Kennedy. Presidential libraries are quasi-government operations which fall under the jurisdiction of the national archives. The John F. Kennedy library has federal employees. The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation has today published a statement saying that the sudden closure of the library today has been forced, cites, by the sudden rejection of federal employees.
